Dirty shoes? Not anymore

We’ve all been there it’s a rainy and muddy day outside, then you decide to take a walk around the neighborhood. When you’re faced with the choice of what shoes to wear you choose your new basketball shoes to impress the ladies. When you come back home as you bow down to untie your shoe laces your shoes look like they were just run over a garbage truck. Today I will give you some tips to recover these shoes from this horrific incident.

Depending on the type of shoe and material these remedies and products will vary on their affect. The key is to not use these products and remedies too much or the leather will start to break or crack, it is best to use these remedies tips once a month or when shoes or to dirty too see the logo. Don’t go for perfection and start scrubbing the shoes for every little microscopic scuff mark.

Here are some home remedies you can try for your shoes.

  • Nail polish remover works well with leather shoes. Take a q-tip and dip in nail polish remover then rub on shoe and let it sit for a while.
  • Mr. Clean Magic eraser is a very effective product if you have one of these sitting around the house just try them on your shoes and it will do wonders.
  • Baby diaper wipes also have the ability to clean leather shoes and are very effective for many other surfaces to clean

Out of these 3 the most effective is Nail polish remover, although it is the least friendliest for your shoes, the safest would be Baby Diapers and they are not to expensive either. Mr. Clean Magic Eraser is great for removing the marks although it could leave your wallet feeling a bit lighter compared to the other solutions here, like my father said always improvise and mix and match. Just because the price tag has more digits than other products this doesn’t guarantee better results.

That’s all for my blog today Thank you very much for reading my blog and I hope you got some knowledge and benefit from some of the advice I have gathered. Thank you very much and stay tuned for my next blog.
